Soulja boy aka Deandre Way has moved out his atlanta crib and refuses to talk to the police

According to sources it seems Soulja boy aka Deandre Way has moved out his atlanta crib and refuses to talk to the police.
It was reported that the lil homie and his friends were held up at gun point after a album release party on december 30th , and his friend jbar was held hostage.
He then made allegations that 6 men were involved in the incident, since then two men claiming to be the robbers have released a video in which they deny the allegations that there were six robbers involved.

Earlier in 2008 a 12-year-old kid threw a rock at his tour bus outside a concert in Bloomington, Illinois. When questioned by police, the suspect said he did it because "I hate Soulja Boy."

Britney Trades Kids for Fame

She has a #1 album, recently entertained audiences on Good Morning America and shared the stage with Madonna. But with the March 3 launch of her concert tour in New Orleans, Britney Spears is hoping to regain much more: to fully reclaim the adulation and fame she had exactly 10 years ago, when her controversial single "Baby One More Time" shot to the top of the charts on Jan. 30, 1999.
But it's no secret that, as she starts to climb back to the top, there are sacrifices she's had to make along the way — specifically, spending less time with her two adorable sons, Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden James, 2.

Now, OK! has learned exclusivly the extraordinary price the singer is paying for her comeback, voluntarily giving up the fight to regain custody of her boys in exchange for fame.

Last fall, as her upcoming concert tour was being organized, Brit's camp discovered that because of the star's history, they could not purchase insurance to cover her tour unless she was still under the conservatorship of her father Jamie Spears. Until that point, the plan was for the conservatorship to be lifted on Dec. 31, followed by Britney, 27, heading to family court with a petition to regain custody of Preston and Jayden.

50 Cent Premieres New Single, 'I Get It In,' Featuring Beat Dr. Dre Recorded For Eminem

Second single from Before I Self Destruct gets Funkmaster Flex stamp of approval in New York radio debut.
50 Cent has teased us for months with talk — or lack thereof — about his new big collaboration with Dr. Dre. On Monday night, he got one of the hip-hop industry's most craved endorsements: a debut of the record on Hot 97 with DJ Funkmaster Flex dropping bombs of approval while the song played. After its premiere, the next single from Before I Self Destruct, "I Get It In," had been blasted all over the 'Net by Tuesday morning (January 6).
50 starts off shouting out several brands of liquor, then breaks down some of his club exploits and adventures as a heartbreak kid: "I can't be responsible for what I say or I do when I talk intoxicated/ Shawty say I told her I love her/ I put her out the next morning saying, 'Bi---, I must have been faded.
"Sat-tur-daaay! Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday we get it in/ I need a drink/ Get me a drink," he insists on the chorus

The beat, which has New York b-boy drum boom-bap and Left Coast synth splashes, was pilfered from studio sessions in which Dr. Dre gave tracks to Eminem, 50 told Mixtape Monday in November.

"I did a song produced by Dr. Dre," 50 said. "I got the production from Detroit, because Dre was working with Em right before I got out there. I just missed him. I went through Em's computer and found what I needed. Yes, I did. I got me the record I needed. I was like, 'Wait till they hear this.' I wrote it; Em heard it. He was like, 'You gotta keep that for yourself. This is too crazy.' First, I think he was gonna take it from me, then he was like, 'He gotta use that for himself.' "

The first offering from Before I Self Destruct was "Get Up," which 50 classified as just an initial taste of the album.
"My song 'Get Up' is performing great. I'm happy with 'Get Up.' It moved faster than 'I Get Money' at radio," Fif said.

Hackers send rude texts from celebrity accounts

Among the victims were US president-elect Barack Obama, pop star Britney Spears and news networks CNN and Fox News.

The hacker posted a fictional update to the Twitter feed for CNN anchorman Rick Sanchez which read: 'I am high on crack right now, might not be coming into work today.'

A similar post was made to the Fox News blog claiming that anchorman Bill O'Reilly was gay, while the Spears feed sported a vulgar message claiming to be from the pop singer. Obama's feed included a link to a survey site which pays users for traffic referrals.

Twitter said that as of early afternoon US Pacific time, all of the hacked accounts had been secured and any posts made by the attacker had been removed.

he postings appeared shortly after news broke of a phishing attack on Twitter users. The company said that this latest series of hacks is not believed to be related to the phishing operation.

"These accounts were compromised by an individual who hacked into some of the tools our support team uses to help people do things like edit the email address associated with their Twitter account when they can't remember or get stuck," the company explained.

As a result of the attack, Twitter has taken down the compromised support tools until a fix can made to prevent future attacks.

Users are still being advised to steer clear of unsolicited messages, and ignore any outside site that asks for Twitter log-in details.

Death Row artists will be auctioned off on January 15

According to hiphopdx.com, The New York Daily News reports a substantial amount of unreleased recordings by 2Pac, Snoop Dogg and other former Death Row artists will be auctioned off on January 15. The material stems from the 2006 bankruptcy sale of Death Row Records' assets after Marion "Suge" Knight filed for Chapter 11 protection. Todd Nielsen, the Chapter 11 trustee of the Death Row Estate, tells the Daily News that the catalogue contains thousands of unreleased recordings.

Similar sales to Warner Music Group in February of 2008 and Global Music Group in June were never completed. Analysts believe the economic recession and the reputation Knight built during his run while head of Death Row could affect the asking price, which was previously at $25 million.

"It could be a tough sale," an unnamed source added. "Some people don't want to go near the catalogue because they think Suge still believes it's his."

While Death Row's immediate future is still being decided in the courts, the label's vaults of unreleased recordings have been a cash cow. Since his death in September of 1996, there have been at least 10 posthumously released albums from Tupac Shakur alone.

FBLA thinks the National Society of Film Critics is smoking crack

FBLA thinks the National Society of Film Critics is smoking crack in between votes for its awards with its first-ever animated or documentary best picture award for "Waltz with Bashir," said Tom O'Neil's Gold Derby ratings in the L.A. Times.

We like the film anyway, but think it's oddly political that the film which trashes the Israelis for invading Gaza in the early 1980s is given the award the same day Israel invaded Gaza again.

Those National Critics have always been cantankerous ever since they were banned from the New York Film Critics Circle in 1966.

This year, the critics were also doling out votes for every oddball entry in this year's crop of films, including a best actress vote for the robot Eva in "Wall-E" and a best actor nod for head-cracker Jean-Claude Van Damme.

GIBSON GIVES GOOD ADVICE ON 'LOVE CIRCLE' HOTLINE

TRANSFORMERS star TYRESE GIBSON is mentoring fans about life and love on a new telephone hotline.
Fans who call U.S. number 818-287-8968 can register for the former model's words of wisdom, which are automatically sent to their cellphones.
Gibson says, "It's a free number. I'm not making any money off of it. I call it the love circle.
"When I have advice and information and anything that's going on in my life, I'm able to call this number and verbally leave a message, which goes directly into my fans' in-box on their cellphones.
"I recently put up Will Smith's advice to me, which is, 'You can often tell how far your life and career will go based on the five people you spend the most time with.'

Now you got all these people who go on the hotline changing up their circle of five, doing all this restructuring and cleaning house in their life because of these messages that I'm leaving."
He adds, "It's my way of telling the fans thank you for the years of supporting me and all my career moves. I can't cut a cheque and pay everybody's bills but I can give people knowledge and information that I have that's contributed to my success.
"I don't know what my next message is but it always comes from a real place. I love it when I have all these l these new folks calling me, saying, 'Call me Tyrese, on the love circle'."

T.I. celebrated his last day of freedom

RAPPER T.I. celebrated his last day of freedom before spending a year in jail on weapons charges by performing on New Year’s Eve at the Gansevoort in Miami - but it didn’t go as smoothly as he’d hoped.

Promoters sold revelers poolside tables for a whopping $10,000, but when partiers got there expecting to see the concert, they were told T.I. would be performing inside the hotel’s small ballroom instead. “The city wouldn’t allow him to perform outside,” a Gansevoort rep said. Even worse, before T.I. could take the stage, the hotel had to get DJ Cassidy off it. “Cassidy thinks he’s a celebrity now,” a insider said

“He refused to stop playing, and then he wanted his assistant and girlfriend to stay on stage with him. It was a mess. He finally shut everything down and stormed off.” The countdown was saved by T.I. doing an a cappella version of his hit, “Live Your Life,” while DJ Jus Ske stepped in to finish the night off.

LIL WAYNE SCORES TOP SELLING ALBUM IN AMERICA

LIL WAYNE's THA CARTER III has become the first album to top the annual bestsellers list in America without making it to three million sales.
The rapper's hit album crashed into the top of the Billboard charts last summer (08) shifting a million copies, but it failed to make it to three million sales, rounding off the year with 2.88 million.

That's still enough to claim 2008's top seller, easily beating Coldplay's Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends and Taylor Swift's Fearless, which closed out the year with 2.11 million sales.
Rounding out the top five in America are Kid Rock's Rock N Roll Jesus and AC DC's Black Ice.

Celebrities We Lost Last Year: 2008 In Memoriam

As we review celebrity news over the last year, we take a moment to remember those to whom we said goodbye in 2008. Here are just a few.

Heath Ledger (April 4, 1979 - January 22, 2008). His career was just beginning its upward arc when it was cut short by an accidental drug overdose. Nearly a year later, we still miss him.

Charlton Heston (October 4, 1924 - April 5, 2008). Before he became the National Rifle Association’s most famous spokesperson, he had a long and glorious Hollywood career. He died at home, with his family.

Tim Russert (May 7, 1950 - June 13, 2008). Celebrated journalist Russert was NBC News’ Washington Bureau Chief and host of Meet The Press. His sudden heart attack at age 58 was tragic indeed.

George Carlin (May 12, 1937 - June 22, 2008). The great stand-up comic and fan of those seven dirty words you can’t say on television was the first person ever to host Saturday Night Live. Thanks for the laughs, George.

Bernie Mac (October 5, 1957 - August 9, 2008). Just 50 years old when he died of pneumonia, the Emmy-nominated actor and comedian left behind a legacy of movie and television work that will never be forgotten.

Isaac Hayes (August 20, 1942 - August 10, 2008). He was one bad mother… shut your mouth! Hayes’ voice was the very definition of smooth. What more music might he have made?

Paul Newman (January 26, 1925 - September 26, 2008). Academy-award winning actor, generous philanthropist, maker of delicious salad dressings… Paul Newman was a king among men.

Richard Blackwell (August 29, 1922 - October 19, 2008). Mr. Blackwell’s Worst Dressed list was a January must-read for 48 years. What in the world will the New Year be without his signature fashion critiques?

Eartha Kitt (January 17, 1927 - December 25, 2008). Once described as “the most exciting woman in the world,” Eartha Kitt played Catwoman to Adam West’s Batman. Her signature song, Santa Baby, took writing a letter to Santa to an entirely new level.

To these and the many celebrities who passed away in 2008, rest in peace. We will miss you all.
