The first boyfriend of Michelle Obama has provided new insights into the First Lady, not to mention a prom night photograph of her in a satin dress with plunging neckline and a high slit.
David Upchurch escorted the then 18-year-old Michelle Robinson to the prom at Whitney M Young High School in Chicago in 1982.

Now a customer service representative and divorced father of three living in a modest house in Colorado Springs, he said that their romance
went nowhere.

"I was a screw-up, plain and simple," he told the Enquirer magazine. He claimed he had "pretty much forgotten" their prom date together and couldn't even recall if it ended with a kiss.

Mr Upchurch, the first of Mrs Obama's former boyfriends to speak publicly about their relationship, knew her family from an early age as they were both raised in Chicago's South Side.

"I grew up with Michelle and her brother Craig. We were neighbours and our families were close."

After his father died, Michelle's father, Fraser, took him "under his wing" and helped him to deal with his loss, he said.

They "began dating" when Michelle was in the middle of her junior year at high school -when she would have been 16 or 17 - and continued to see each other for a year and a half, until she graduated, he said.

Although Rihanna has reportedly refused to press charges against her boyfriend Chris Brown after reuniting with him in Miami over the weekend, the Los Angeles District Attorney's office has, and now he's facing two felony charges.
So, will Rihanna stand by Chris, as he faces possible jail time? Los Angeles defense lawyer and former prosecutor Steve Sitkoff told People magazine on Friday (March 6) that Rihanna is no longer cooperating, which could "make or break the case," he said. However, he adds: "the DAs may not need her if Brown is willing to strike a plea deal."

Rihanna's representation, lawyer Donald Etra, contradicted that statement to MTV News, claiming that the singer is more than willing to testify is the law requires.

"At this point, she is willing to do anything that the law requires her to do. ... If subpoenaed, she will testify," Entra said. As far as the couple's current relationship, Etra said now is "neither the time nor the place to discuss their relationship."

While taking the stand may be an option for Rihanna, experts tell People that she cannot be threatened with jail time if she refuses to take the stand. If she does refuse, it could hurt the DA's case because statements she gave police following the incident may only be used if she does, in fact, testify.

Right now, it's a waiting game to see what happens.

He is all set to perform two back-to-back Dare 2 Dream charity events at the House of Blues in Chicago to help promote reading and literacy among Chicago's youth. Non-profit organization, Working in the Schools (WITS) will use benefits from the event to provide students with one-on-one tutoring and mentoring programs.

As one of the worst public school systems in the United States, Chicago Public School System (CPS) graduates only fifty percent of its high school freshmen. Of those who do graduate, only six percent finish college, and as little as two percent of minority students graduate from college. These statistics are not surprising in a system where eighty-five percent of students live under the poverty line. The Dare 2 Dream events will go towards positively impacting the lives of all 400,000 CPS students.

'The man's on jet skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami?' singer says of photos, which follow alleged altercation with Rihanna.

Chris Brown has drawn fire from the media and from fans for the photos of him that emerged over the weekend buzzing around in Miami on a jet ski during what was called as his "reconciliation" weekend with girlfriend Rihanna.

And in a recently posted video, Usher joins the criticism of Brown, who is slated to face charges on Thursday from the alleged incident on February 8, in which he is reported to have battered Rihanna on a Los Angeles street.

In a video posted by producer Jermaine Dupri, Usher says that instead of riding around on jet skis, the 19-year-old singer should "have some remorse" for the alleged incident. The comments in the clip, part of the JD's "Living the Life" series, were recorded on Monday, according to comments from Usher, who is shown huddled around a laptop discussing a series of photos with some other men in a recording studio.

"I'm a little disappointed in this photo," Usher says about the shots of Brown, as singer/ songwriter Johnta Austin bounces around the room and makes some off-color jokes about boxing. "After the other photo [of Rihanna's bruised face posted by TMZ last month]? C'mon, Chris. Have a little bit of remorse, man. The man's on jet skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami?"

R. Kelly's trouble with the whole child pornography case isn't over yet. A Kansas City private investigator is suing the R&B singer for $300,000. In the lawsuit filed last week in Missouri federal court, Charles Freeman claims he was hired by R Kelly during his trial to "obtain and/or recover certain tapes that were said to incriminate" R. Kelly.

Freeman says he did the job, but never got paid so he is suing for damages plus interests and costs.

According to Concrete Loop, the house that the star couple are living in is Diddy's Miami pad and Brown’s mother, Rihanna's friends and stylist have been spotted hanging around the house, which strengthens the reports of the couple’s reconciliation.

Brown and Rihanna made headlines earlier this month when a dispute between turn them turned violent and Brown was booked on a felony charge of making a criminal threat.

The band-aids with flash and the American flag on it was the problem.

The NBA said it is OK if players wear them for medical purposes, but not for fashion

They said it is too small of a penalty to penalize or fine for violating.

Then why even say anything about it?

Wade's Band-Aids were not hurting anyone. They didn't have anything bad written on them. What's so bad about an American flag?

The NBA shouldn't have wasted their time with such a small matter like this. It's not destroying basketball the way steroids is baseball right now.

Buck says he never saw money in the 8 figure range "It's simple, I can let you know what I've made. I'll just put out my tax statements since I signed with G-Unit... I haven't received 10 million dollars, or jacked off 10 million dollars."

So what is next for Young Buck? Whatever it is, it will be under G-Unit. Moreover, the tabloid's claim that Nicole Richie packed her bags after a bitter fight with Joel Madden and left him with their daughter in tow is undercut within the article ... by the supposed "fact" that she returned a day after the supposed fight.

So, if you went to investigate the accuracy of this story, you'd learn she's - lo and behold - still living there, making it hard to disprove. How convenient, Star.
