LADY GAGA IS A STYLE THIEF

Irish singer ROISIN MURPHY has accused LADY GAGA of copying her outrageous style and attempting to pass it off as her own.
The Just Dance hitmaker has been lauded as a fashion pioneer since topping the charts with her debut album The Fame, becoming a tabloid staple with her oversized hats, thigh-high boots and daring headpieces.
But former Moloko frontwoman Murphy maintains she's responsible for dreaming up the pop star's outlandish looks.
Murphy reportedly told the Daily Mail, "She's copied my style. I met her about a year ago before she got really big and I had no clue that this was all going to happen. She wasn't wearing shoulder pads at the time, and I was.

JAY-Z, RIHANNA, WEST TO KICK OFF LENO'S NEW SHOW

AP-Jay Leno's new prime-time series is going to kick off with a performance by Jay-Z, Rihanna and Kanye West.

NBC said the three singers will perform together on "Run This Town," a tune from Jay-Z's new album, on the Sept. 14 debut of "The Jay Leno Show."

The network and Leno said this week that there will be fewer musical acts. They also said he will feature interesting combinations of performers.

Leno stepped down as "Tonight" host in May. He said that he'll expect guests on his new show to do more than talk — like, for example, race electric cars on a track being built near his NBC studio in Burbank.

CHRIS BROWN'S GUM COMPANY DEAL ENDED

Wrigley. Previously suspending the ads featuring Chris Brown shortly after the assault case with Rihanna,Brown deal with the chewing gum company has been terminated entirely.
Wrigley statement- "Wrigley is concerned by the serious allegations made against Chris Brown. We believe Mr. Brown should be afforded the same due process as any citizen. However, we have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved."

Wrigley announced Thursday August 6,that there no longer exist a commercial deal with Chris Brown. No further statement was made.

SHARON STONE POSES TOPLESS

According to Us weekly,this is not the first time the star has shown some serious skin. She famously gave fans an eyeful in 1992's Basic Instinct and has made multiple red carpet appearances in sheer gowns.

"I'm a person who feels that if it's appropriate for the character I'm playing or the mood of the piece, then [nudity is] no big thing," she has said.

50 CENT GIVES SOULJA BOY TOUR BUS FOR 19TH BIRTHDAY

CHRIS BROWN SENTENCE DELAYED

According to TMZ,Chris Brown's sentence has been delayed until August 27th at 2 PM PT.
The reason for the delay ... the judge said she wants Brown to perform Caltrans-type work -- hard labor -- for his community service. The plan for the community service in Virginia was not fully in place, so the judge wants to see the full schedule at the end of the month.

The judge wants to know what Brown will be doing for his community service -- 90% of the community service is accounted for but the remaining 10% needs to be locked down.

LEIGHTON MEESTER HAS BROKEN SILENCE OVER SEX TAPE

Actress LEIGHTON MEESTER has broken her silence over a sex tape, in which she purportedly appears in, insisting the racy footage is "not real".
Reports surfaced online in June (09), alleging the saucy video featured a younger Meester performing a striptease for a boyfriend and then engaging in a number of sensual and erotic acts.
Website bidding for the tape is said to have exceeded $1 million (£666,600), but now Meester has shot down claims she is the woman caught on camera.
She admits the salacious gossip has upset her, and insists she has no interest in the tabloid fame that comes with being in a hit TV show, like Gossip Girl.

JESSICA SIMPSON MOURNS THE END OF RELATIONSHIP

Jessica Simpson "mourns" the end of a relationship every time she goes through a break-up, likening a love split to "a death in the family".
Jessica,who recently split with Tony Romo, admits she is hit hard whenever a romance comes to an end and she endures a lengthy process to pick herself up again.
According to contactmusic,She tells the September (09) issue of Glamour magazine, "You go through the mourning stage, then the rebellion, and then all of a sudden you have to find life by yourself.
"Once you do that, you feel complete - and that's the only time you can truly fall in love again, and give yourself over completely to another person."

METHOD MAN ACCUSED OF SHOOTING FAN

TMZ Report,"I don't have time," "I have to go," or "Sorry, I don't sign" -- all appropriate responses if a celeb doesn't want to sign an autograph. Shooting them six times with an air gun is not.

That's what a lawsuit claims rapper Method Man did to a fan outside of a show in Houston, Texas in November 2008. According to a lawsuit filed last week, Mary Anderson tried to get an autograph from Method Man after the show by handing him her ticket stub.

Anderson claims that's when Method "pulled out an air gun and ... began firing pellets." Anderson says she was struck at least six times.

THE GAME SUED OVER FIGHT AT A FUNERAL

TMZ report-The Game's cousin wants the rapper to be coffin' up some serious cash -- and it's all over an alleged beat down that occurred at a freakin' funeral last year.

Robert Kirkwood just filed a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court, claiming the The Game and four others assaulted him at his sister's funeral in July of '08.

The suit says the throwdown -- straight out of a Jerry Springer Halloween Special -- started when Robert confronted The Game because the rich rapper wouldn't pay for a part of the funeral costs.

Robert -- who hilariously refers to The Game in the suit as someone who "fashions himself as some kind of rapper, gangster and/or celebrity" -- says he suffered "severe and permanent injuries" during the alleged fight.

KANYE WEST DENIES SAYING HE'S THE "NEW KING OF POP"

Kanye West did not try to take Michael Jackson's crown as the King of Pop, he wrote on his blog Friday.

Various sites reported earlier that the hip-hop singer declared himself "the new King of Pop" on Scrape TV, weeks after Jackson died at the age of 50.

He was quoted as saying: "It's so sad to see Michael gone but it makes a path for a new King of Pop and I'm willing to take that on. There's nobody who can match me in sales and in respect so it only makes sense for me to take over Michael's crown and become the new King."

However, West claims he never said anything about the late icon.
