Miley Cyrus claimed she does not listen to pop music and has never heard anything by Jay-Z. "I've never heard a Jay-Z song," Miley Cyrus told Us Weekly before a Halloween concert in Louisville, Kentucky. “I don't listen to pop music….I don't know, I didn't write the song, so I have no idea."
She revealed that the track, which debuted at #11 on the UK Singles chart this week, is not her "style of music."
Cyrus told Us Weekly that she picked the song to go with her clothing line with designer Max Azria.

DMX Pulls Out Of Boxing Fight

DMX's new career as a boxer has ended,the rapper has pulled out of his upcoming match with actor Eric Martinez.Despite bragging that he would use street fighting experience rather than train for the fight,According AllHipHop.com DMX pulled out of the fight because his safety could not be guaranteed,another Source claimed that the rapper backed out because Thunder Promotions refused his request to "fix" the fight.

Winfrey Takes Gospel Singer Winans Off Her Show

NEW YORK(AP) – Oprah Winfrey is removing gospel singer BeBe Winans from her show's "karaoke challenge" until charges against him for allegedly pushing his ex-wife to the ground are resolved.

Winans appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" last week and was seen in promos for future appearances. Now he'll be cut out of the segment, said Winfrey spokesman Don Halcombe on Thursday.

Winfrey was criticized by some bloggers this week for including Winans after she had taken a strong stand against domestic violence earlier this year. She did a show on the topic when singer Chris Brown assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna.

The daytime TV leader said at the time: "Domestic violence is something that I wouldn't tolerate. Period."

Halcombe would only say that the decision to eliminate Winans was made this week. It was not clear if Winfrey had been aware that Winans was charged with misdemeanor domestic assault in the Feb. 13 incident, where Winans and his ex-wife Debra were allegedly arguing about their children. Winans has a court date set for Jan. 20.

Winans' manager did not immediately return a telephone call for comment.

Beauty Queens In Fight Over Gladiator

Miss England has been arrested over claims she assaulted another beauty queen during a fight over her Gladiator boyfriend.
Rachel Christie, 21, allegedly punched Miss Manchester Sara Beverley Jones, 24, in the face at the Mansion nightclub in Manchester.

The incident happened during a party which Miss Christie attended with TV star Tornado, otherwise known as David McIntosh, 22.

Trouble flared between the two women after they argued over the 15-stone former Royal Marine, believed to be an ex-boyfriend of the Miss Manchester winner.

Miss Jones then wrote on her Twitter page on Monday morning: "Bad time last night, assaulted in a nightclub."

The comment has since been removed.

Miss Christie, the niece of former sprinter Linford Christie, was arrested on suspicion of assault and questioned by officers before being released on bail.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "At about 12.55am on Monday 2 November 2009, police received a report of an assault at a club on Deansgate Court, Manchester City Centre.

"It is believed that, earlier that night, a 24-year-old woman got into an altercation with another woman in the club and was hit in the face several times.

"The victim was taken to Hope Hospital where she received treatment for superficial facial injuries. She has now been discharged.

Mariah Carey is postponing plans to start a family with her husband NICK CANNON until she finds a break in her hectic schedule - because she doesn't want her baby to be raised by a nanny.
The star has been dogged by pregnancy rumours ever since she married the rapper/actor in 2008.
And although Carey admits she longs to start a family - she insists she just doesn't have time.
She tells U.S. talk show host Larry King, "Yes (I want to have children). But this particular moment, I mean this month or next month I'm not sure what I'm doing, my schedule is out of control. It's out of control, because I've never promoted a movie and an album at the same time.
"It would be the happiest thing in my life. But what I'm saying is right now, with this movie coming out and with the next few singles from the album and those things that I'm doing, I need to focus on that."

Jermaine Dupri Involved In Da Brat Assault Case

Jermaine Dupri has become embroiled in Da Brat's legal battle with a woman who was left permanently scarred following an attack at the music producer's nightclub in 2007.

According to starpulse,Rapper Da Brat was convicted of aggravated assault and imprisoned for three years in 2008 over her attack on waitress Shayla Stevens at a Halloween party at Dupri's Studio 72 nightclub in Atlanta, Georgia the previous year.

The hip-hop star - real name Shawntae Harris - assaulted the former model with a rum bottle at the venue, leaving her with nerve damage to her face.

Stevens is suing Harris over the attack - and has now targeted Dupri, as well as two other revelers, over claims they failed to protect her from Harris' vicious outburst.

Lindsay Lohan was left fearing for her life when a man threatened her with a gun on Sunday - breaking down in floods of tears when she realised the weapon was a fake.

In a post on her personal Twitter.com page, she writes, "I was walking... with the security guard & some guy was following me, then pulled up in his car & pointed a Gun at me!

"I was on the phone (with) my mum & I screamed and ducked & the guy started laughing & pushed the trigger & it was a fake gun. I was crying...he scared me."

Security Guards Failed To Recognise Pink

Pop star PINK was held by security ahead of her gig in Birmingham, England on Friday (30Oct09) - when a bouncer failed to recognise her.
The So What hitmaker was denied access to her dressing room on Friday morning as she attempted to prepare for her show at the city's National Indoor Arena (NIA).
Security guards posted outside the door failed to recognise the star and refused her entry. Pink was finally allowed into the backstage area after showing her identification.
