Carey blames her director Lee Daniels for her tipsy's speech at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on Tuesday.The R&B singer says she was having champagne with Lee Daniels and Precious director before her acceptance speech.Mariah Carey explained to the audience, "Please forgive me because I'm a little bit um, yeah," leading some to wonder whether she was drunk – or just nervous. It was apparently the former, and Carey says Daniels, who presented her the award, was to blame. "The thing is, me and Lee hadn't seen each other in a while," she explains. "I love Lee, but he's a bad influence!" Carey also offers a few words to anyone wagging fingers: "If people don't understand me and they just think I'm this girl that stands by a microphone and sings "Hero" then they're definitely not gonna get me," she says. "But if people knew me they'd understand and have a sense of humor. And basically that's what gets me through life."

Beyonce has been slammed for accepting a £1.25 million pay cheque to perform at a private New Year's Eve concert for the son of controversial Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.

The singer graced the stage for an hour at the Nikki Beach nightclub on the Caribbean isle of St. Bart's, in front of a crowd that included her husband Jay-Z, Lindsay Lohan and Usher.

Guests allegedly paid £7,500 per table for tickets to the private party, hosted by Hannibal Gaddafi - but the Crazy In Love hitmaker has come under increasing criticism for agreeing to perform at the controversial bash.

Lindsay Lohan allegedly became embroiled in a nightclub fistfight.According to abc2news,the actress has been enjoying a sunshine holiday on a yacht off the coast of the Caribbean island of St. Barts.
But the vacation took a turn for the worse after she reportedly confronted a man who got too close to her 16-year-old sister Aliana during a night out.
A source tells the New York Daily News, "Lindsay repeatedly warned the guy to leave Ali alone. When he didn't, she viciously punched him. Bodyguards arrived quickly to stop the fight, and Ali returned to the boat."

The 'Bad Romance' singer - who describes her stage show as "ostentatious and over-the-top" - is making a heavy loss every night she performs on the North American leg of her 'Monster Ball Tour, even though every concert is sold out, which has so far overspent by £2 million.

The massive costs have been run up by her elaborate stage design, costumes and props, including the giant bath she used while making a promotional appearance on UK TV talent show 'The X Factor'.

A source said: "The concerts are losing money hand over fist because they've spent a fortune on pricey costumes, technical equipment and elaborate set designs. She spent £500,000 on one stage alone.

"But Lady Gaga gets what Lady Gaga wants. Her wardrobe is huge and she wants to shock - and that costs serious money."

According to her spokesman, the 23-year-old star just "doesn't care" about the financial side of things.

Alfamega son and daughter were involved in a violent altercation inside of T.I.’s Club Crucial in Atlanta.The rapper said that his children were involved in a violent altercation at the club which, resulted in his daughter being stabbed multiple times and son broke his jaw.
“I had a talk with Tip’s uncle Derrick, who co-owns Club Crucial,” Alfamega told AllHipHop.com in an exclusive interview. “I was like ‘my daughter got stabbed up there dog and my son got his jaw fractured. He ‘was like huh? I didn’t know that.’ They didn’t know, they people they got into it with didn’t know they were my children. I was told that my children wasn’t in the wrong. The girls and the dudes attacked her and stabbed her and basically my son jumped in cause they were attacking his sister and somebody hit him from the blindside.”

Lil Wayne To Be The Voice Of Jesus

According to a story reported by HipHopwired. New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne will appear in an Adult Swim cartoon titled "Freaknik" as Jesus Christ

The name "Freaknik" is taken from a former annual event held in Atlanta for mostly African American college students from around the country.

Adult Swim is known for edgy cartoons generally geared for audiences 18 years of age and older. If the creators of "Freaknik" were looking to get a buzz then this should do it. The only question is, will it be a positive or negative buzz?

The cartoon which also features T-Pain and David Banner will air on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim March 1st.

Tiger Woods's estranged wife Elin has told friends that she has agreed a £185 million divorce settlement, according to a newspaper report.
The News of the World claims the 30-year-old Swede told friends about the settlement, reportedly laughing as she described it as a "$300 million Christmas present" from the superstar golfer.
Since news of Woods's serial philandering broke late last year, the world number one has been at the centre of a media storm that has seen 18 women claim to have had relationships with him.
Rumours of a possible divorce have been circulating ever since, and the News of the World's source claimed that Elin Woods is determined to split up with her husband for good: "She's more focused than ever about moving on with her life," the source was quoted as saying.
